CONVEYANCING
The Firm has a sizeable conveyancing practice which provides customised services to individuals and corporate clients. We are fully cognisant of the importance of effecting proper transfer of title, from the varying perspectives of stakeholders involved in conveyancing transactions. In the case of purchasers, we appreciate that the acquisition of proper title is important in every transaction.
Among other considerations, it is equally important for sellers to obtain full payment of the purchase price, after passing title to the purchaser. Accordingly, we always aim to ensure that every conveyancing transaction is handled in a manner that addresses the various needs of the diverse stakeholders involved.
The Firm has assisted countless numbers of clients to do property development. Our attorneys are regularly engaged to work on projects for a diverse range of clients. When it comes to registration of security (more commonly mortgage or notarial bonds), we have developed a keen awareness of how our performance as the Conveyancers impacts on the viability of our clients’ business.

Typically, registration of mortgage bonds occurs in a context where the client wishes to lend money and as security, the client would wish to register security over the borrower’s property first. In turn, borrowers usually will be acting under time constraints. Accordingly, it is of utmost important for the mortgage or notarial bond to be registered as fast as practicable. So far as registration of mortgage bonds is dependent on our efficiency as appearing Conveyancers, we aim to procure speedy registration. We are pleased to state that we have a fast turnaround time.
In summary, our Conveyancing Department offers the following services:
- registration of transfer of residential, commercial and industrial real estate;
- negotiation and drafting of real estate agreements;
- preparation and registration of mortgage, surety and notarial bonds;
- subdivision (including “cluster” developments) and consolidation of land;
- general advisory services on structuring of transactions and taxation;
